Beatroot Music has received $380,000 USD in funding from the UK's North West Fund for Digital and Creative. The investment will be used scale infrastructure and expand data music delivery to more music industry partners.

Beatroot Music focuses on catalog. Domino Records, Sentric Music, Universal Music Group and Woodwork Music have been using it in beta.

North West Fund is financed by the European Regional Development Fund and the European Investment Bank.
