Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA), Warner Music Group’s independent distribution and services arm, has hired Christine Taylor as Senior Vice President, Finance. Taylor joins from Island Records.

• Sony/ATV Music Publishing has promoted Brian Monaco to President, Global Chief Marketing Officer following a record-breaking year for the company’s synchronization department. His expanded brief includes a focus on developing business opportunities in growing music regions around the globe, including China.

Sony/ATV Music also added to its creative team with the appointment of Tyler Childs to Vice President, Creative and Lou Al-Chamaa to Senior Director, Creative. Both will be based in LA.

• ie:music, the London based artist management firm whose clients include Robbie Williams, Passenger, Will Young, Lily Allen, Lemar and Ladyhawk has announced key promotions. 

Company co-founder Tim Clark will assume the role of Chairman, following the death of David Enthoven. Two longtime staff members, Dan Medland and Michael Loney, have been promoted to the positions of joint Managing Director.

Universal Music Publishing Group has appointed Jake Simon to Director of Creative. He  joins from Atlas Music Publishing.
