Billboard, Bandsintown Partner To Grow Artist and Concert Discovery Across Their Massive Music Platforms

Bandsintown+BillboardBillboard and Bandsintown have announced a multifaceted partnership designed to drive music discovery, fan engagement and sell more tickets. The collaboration launches with the addition of Bandsintown's comprehensive global tour date listings across Billboard and its portfolio of music sites which include Spin, Vibe, and Stereogum.

Billboard and its sites will now also feature the Bandsintown Amplified music player which enables fans to discover music from major streaming services alongside its content. In addition, Bandsintown artist profiles will include links to related Billboard page and archives.

With revenue related to live music accounting for 60-80% of most musician's income, this broader distribution of tour dates will increase awareness of upcoming live dates.
