Folk Alliance Names Artist, Song, Album Of The Year

Folk Alliance International named its Artist, Song and Album Of The Year at an award show Wednesday night in New Orleans kicking off its annual convention.

Each year, members vote for the winner of each category based on nominees selected from multiple top folk DJ charts around the world.

The awards show also featured presentations of the Lifetime Achievement, Clearwater (sponsored by Levitt Foundation), Spirit of Folk, and People’s Voice Awards (sponsored by the Folk Americana Roots Hall of Fame), in addition to inductions into the Folk DJ Hall of Fame.
