Spotify is planning to launch in Russia next week, according to multiple sources
The long-anticipated July 15th launch will be Spotify’s first expansion into a major new market since it launched in India last year.
Russia was the fastest-growing international market for music in 2019, according to MBW, with revenue up by more than 50% from 2018.
South Korea is reported to be Spotify’s next major launch target.
