TuneCore has a new CEO

Tunecore has a new CEO. After leaving the position open for more than a year, Tunecore owner Believe has promoted Andreea Gleeson to CEO.

Gleeson and Matt Barrington had been serving as co-heads of TuneCore since the departure of CEO Scott Ackerman in April 2020. Under her leadership, TuneCore has expanded into 14 countries.

Barrington will continue in his role as TuneCore’s Chief Operating Officer. Gleeson has been serving as Chief Revenue Officer.

Bruce Houghton is Founder and Editor of Hypebot and MusicThinkTank and serves as a Senior Advisor to Bandsintown which acquired both publications in 2019. He is the Founder and President of the Skyline Artists Agency and a professor for the Berklee College Of Music.
