YouTube launches hub to help songwriters, producers grow a fanbase

YouTube has launched a new site to help songwriters, producers and their teams build an audience and thrive on the platform.

The Songwriters & Producers hub was announced Monday by YouTube’s manager of music publishing partnerships Eric Knapp during A2IM Indie Week in NYC. The site offers “the blueprint for songwriter, producer, mixer composer engineer to get started growing and maintaining their own digital discography on YouTube,” said Knapp.

Credit Playlists are the kind of strategy that creators may want to emulate.

Users can browse tailor-made resources like how to create a visual discography and how to promote their latest work on YouTube.

Sections include:

  • Songwriters & Producers
  • Publishers & Societies
  • Insider Tips
  • Content Strategies
  • YouTube Shorts
