Music streaming on Twitch launched to record highs at the beginning of 2021 due to the pandemic. Gamers and casual music lovers alike flocked to the platform and logged over 25 MILLION hours watched in the music category in May alone. Considering the platform is historically known for gaming, this rise was one of the fastest-rising categories in its history. That being said, you’d think that rise was only temporary.
