QUICK HITS: Sofar adds Greenberg • Nederlander promotes Loeb • 9:30 reborn Moises & more

Marni Greenberg, the former head of Music Communications at YouTube, has landed at Sofar Sounds, where she is taking on a new role as VP of Communications. “Live music, supporting artists, and storytelling are my passions, so I’m thrilled to be able to combine all three in my new role,” said Greenberg.

• Longtime senior staffer member Jamie Loeb has been promoted to Senior Vice President at Nederlander Concerts. She will continue to promote live events and report directly to the CEO Alex Hodges.

Loeb joined Nederlander in 2008 as VP of Marketing after holding a similar role at Live Nation. During the pandemic, she was a driving force behind the formation of the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) and continues as an active supporter.

• Independent concert promoter and venue operator I.M.P. is reopening its iconic 9:30 Club in Washington D.C. as Atlantis with a concert from the Foo Fighters on May 30. A full list of announced concerts is below.

The 450-capacity club has undergone a $10 million makeover.

Moises, which has raised $10.25 million, announced that it has 30 million registered users of its music-focused AI app. Moises tools are “building blocks that complement nearly every phase of the creative process, from practicing to remixing to readying a recorded track for release”.

• Bulldog DM has named Gilad Gershoni as its new Chief Strategy Officer. He will be responsible for leading the development and execution of Bulldog DM’s strategic vision.
