Maximizing Spotify Wrapped 2024 to Connect with Fans (even if you missed the deadline)
Spotify Wrapped 2024 is finally here and it is not too late for every musician to hop on board this global cultural phenomenon – even if you forgot to update your profile before last week’s deadline.
This year’s Spotify Wrapped 2024 arrives with a heavy dose of AI including an eerie yet fun personalized podcast created using Google’s NotebookLM that recaps the users year in music and AI DJ commentary in year-in-review playlists.
Sharing these and all your custom Wrapped playlists with fans and asking them share there’s back can be a great place to start connecting over Spotify Wrapped 2024.
Spotify Wrapped For Artists
“While Wrapped for Artists has always been a fun way for artists to look back on their year and celebrate with fans, we’re always looking to enhance the experience,” said Madeleine Bennet, Head of Global Music Go-to-Market for Spotify. “The Spotify for Artists team has been super focused on helping artists build stronger connections with their listeners around new music releases, especially through tools like playlist pitching, Countdown Pages and Clips. Because releasing new music is such a crucial moment, this year’s Wrapped will put a special emphasis on these milestones.”
While Spotify gave plenty of warning that Wrapped was coming, it is not too late to make sure that what fans see when they click through to listen is up to date.
You’ve missed the chance to create and share a custom year-end Clip, but you can still:
- update your Artist Profile to make it stands out
- add links to merch, a fan support link or special 2024 playlists
- promote upcoming shows by first updating them on Bandsintown and then connecting the accounts
- create a Countdown Page for your next release or tour which can featured on your Artist Profile.

Spotify created two sharable Wrapped graphics for every artist on the platform – even if they missed their November deadline. They can be found in each Spotify For Artists Account . Here are the two created for reggae legend Freddie McGregor.
So be part of this rare global shared experience by updating your profile and tour dates, sharing your custom graphics and giving fans a peak inside your own Spotify Wrapped 2024 today.
