Two very different grants from music non-profits – Salt Lick Incubator and Family Alliance in Music – support musicians and music professionals.

Two Music Industry Grants worth applying for now!

Americanafest Grant: Deadline May 16, 2025

The Salt Lick Incubator is a wonderful nonprofit that supports emerging musicians on their paths to building sustainable careers.

Their grants support a range of music-related projects like the One Night Live Tour produces with the LIve Music Society and D Tour is exploring an alternative model for emerging musicians to tour.

This grant underwrites attending the Americana Music conference.

With an approximate value is $1,750, it includes attending the Festival and Conference with panels and workshops that give artists a better understanding of the music-business landscape. This is not a grant to perform. The grant includes:

  • Up to $1,000 to be used for support travel and accommodations
  • AMERICANAFEST 2025 Conference and Festival Pass
  • Ticket to Americana Honors & Awards

Family Alliance in Music Support Grant: Deadline June 1

Family Alliance in Music is dedicated to supporting music professionals as they navigate the challenges of caregiving, parenting, and family life.

This grant offers $25,000 to help individuals and small businesses navigating caregiving responsibilities while working in music. It was created to make sure no one has to choose between their career and caring for their loved ones.

Country star Lainey Wilson announced the grant

Whether it’s fertility assistance, caregiving support, or relief for touring professionals and small music businesses, this grant is here to help. It provides support for:
