Booking an independent venue is getting harder thanks to more competition and rising costs. Tuesday June 10 at 2PM ET, the Live Music Society will host a free a Booking A Small Venue webinar.
This webinar will focus on understanding a venue’s place in the broader live music ecosystem. Attendees will also learn tools and strategies to get to yes more often by anticipating the needs of artists and agents.
The Live Music Society was created to help through venue grants and education.
Presenter Bruce Houghton has been both a long time booking agent and a talent buyer. He’s also Editor of Hypebot, an Advisor to Bandsintown, and Author and Instructor of Berklee College Of Music’s Touring 101 online course.
