Booking agency ICM Partners, software developer Originate and lawyers and consultant Manatt, Phelps & Phillips have launched O Labs, a joint venture to incubate and fund media and technology startups.
Startups chosen with have access to the expertise and contacts of all three partners.
O Labs will be based in LA and hopes to work with 3-5 companies each year. It will be led by Matthew Pierce, formerly Originate’s VP of strategy.
“The idea is, we’re bringing together three very well-respected and high-end service companies to build and operates companies that can address the needs of enterprise,” Pierce told Variety.
