In an partnership that shows the potentail of technology helping indy artists and labels take control of almost every aspect of their careers, Wraptor, developer of a multimedia file format that can include music, lyrics, photos and other content, announced on Wednesday a partnership with online ticketing provider Wantickets. The deal will allow artists using the .wrap format to distribute music on file-sharing networks to include the ability to promote and sell concert tickets alongside their song files.
