At the annual meeting held yesterday in Paris, the shareholders of Vivendi Universal approved the company’s name change, to just Vivendi. "A new chapter in the history of the company begins with the adoption of a single name, Vivendi, according to a company press release.
No word yet if Vivendi Universial ‘s music group will be changing their name or if division head Doug Morris should now only be called only Doug…or perhaps "the CEO formerly known as Morris".
