New Media Coordinator –
Metropolitan Talent is a diversified entertainment company with divisions in Artist Management, Concert Promotion, and Recordings. The New Media Department supports all divisions in the company. The company is based in New York City. (click here for more details and contact info)

Responsibilities at Metropolitan will include:
Updating all company websites and artist websites, 3rd party
websites (Wikpedia, eventful, All Music, etc), and social networking
sites (mySpace, TagWorld.)
Preparing record releases for inclusion in all Digital Music Stores
(iTunes, Rhapsody, Napster, etc.) and music services (Pandora, Last.fm,
etc.)
Preparing and executing email marketing campaigns for concert
presales, on sales, and record releases. Liaising with Ticketmaster and
other concert marketing partners. Managing email lists for management
clients.
Executing online marketing plans which includes servicing popular
music blogs, setting up contests with 3rd party sites, message board
marketing, and implementing viral campaigns.
Monitoring all online campaigns and reporting results.
This a great opportunity to learn multiple aspects of the music
business. Applicants should have relevant online marketing experience,
have general knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and Flash, and love
music.
