DICE US Venue and Promoter Signings
Ticketing platform DICE has announced a wave of US venues including Brooklyn's Saint Vitus, Pacific Northwest event producers ViViD Presents, and Miami's The Originals, Phase 3 Presents and Studio 60.
Dice was acquired by event producers Fever last year.
Quantizr raises $5M For AI-Powered Touring Ops
Quantizr, an AI-powered financial operations platform for the live entertainment industry, has raised a $5 million seed round.
Quantizr uses AI to extract financial info from businesss docs and organizes it into a structured, live workflow. Teams use Quantizr to create projections, manage budgets, track expenses, review settlements, and understand how individual decisions affect an artist’s bottom line. The company recently expanded its platform with Quantizr Tour Financials (QTF), giving artist managers and their teams a real-time view of financials while on tour.
NIVA Live Policy Summit 2026
The National Independent Venue Association will host its 2026 Live Policy Summit October 26-27, 2026, at HI-FI Indianapolis in Indianapolis, Indiana.
This year's NIVA Live Policy Summit will be an advocacy workshop bringing together national music and live performance organizations with state and local advocates and advocacy organizations.

Folk Alliance Conference Showcase Artists and Theme
Folk Alliance International unveiled the lineup of official showcases for its 39th annual conference January 27-31, 2027, in Chicago. The 160+ artists represent 31 countries, 32 US states, and seven Canadian provinces.
This year's conference’s theme is Hands In Solidarity encouraging attendees to move beyond connection into action.
In Chicago, a city shaped by the labor movement, organizing, and creative exchange, FAI will explore how music communities can become systems of support. "What begins as expression can become action," the non-profit said in a statement. "And what begins as music can become a movement. Hands in Solidarity is an invitation to gather, to listen, to create, and to participate in the work of solidarity — together."
Merch Cat adds Luminate Live Show Sales Reporting
Merch Cat has added direct reporting to Luminate, allowing artists and their teams to report eligible physical music sales from live shows as part of their normal merch workflow.
Previously the atVenu point of sale system was the only platform enabling Luminate live-show reporting.
The reporting is built directly into Merch Cat platform and app alongside its Square integration, inventory management, venue settlements, show reporting and analytics. Merch Cat also integrates with Bandsintown, allowing artists to import upcoming shows for faster setup, and connects with Merch Cat Fan to expand direct-to-fan sales opportunities before, during and after shows.
NITO adds Master Tour Discount
The National Independent Talent Organization (NITO)has added a 25% Master Tour annual subscription discount as a member benefit. The discount applies to both current and new users.
Eventric's Master Tour gives touring teams a centralized system to plan and run a tour end to end: build itineraries and day sheets, manage the guest list, track crew and personnel across a searchable directory of 150,000+ contacts, and pull venue details from a database of over 15,000 concert halls and clubs.

$10,000 Live Music Society Venue Grants
Small U.S. for-profit and non-profit music venues with capacities under 300 can now apply for up to $10,000 in Live Music Society Toolbox grants for equipment and facility upgrades. More here.
