Last Night’s San Francisco Hypebot Music And Tech Meetup

Thank-you to all who braved the crowds to join us for Hypebot's Music And Tech Meetup in San Francisco. I say "braved the crowds" because the evening got off to a rocky start when another event was booked in the same room on top of ours…

I'll admit that for the first part of last night, it was hard to tell who was in the room for our meetup and who was attending a web developer social. But thanks to my intrepid local co-hosts Joey Seller and Cory Zechmann and the arrival of SF Music Tech founder Brian Zisk, who knows everyone, we found our tribe.

Spotted were folks from Spotify, TuneIn, Empire Music, Glownet, Radical.fm, Pandora, SF Music Tech, StressCo Consulting, local musicians The Why Axis and many, many more. My apologies, if you got lost in the crowd and I didn't have a chance to say hello.

It was great put faces to the names, talk about the future on music and music tech, and hear some insider speculation that I'll be exploring and writing about in the coming weeks.
