VevoJust months after its CEO and Head Of Product exited, Vevo has lost Chief Technology Officer Alex Nunes who left alongside major staff reductions in the music video site's San Francisco product and engineering teams.“We can confirm there has been a reduction of personnel across the Product & Engineering teams at Vevo. This decision allows for greater focus to drive increased growth in the promotional and commercial value of videos," according to a company spokesperson. "This will build on what was a very strong 2017 for us with growth in the scale and reach of the music video.”Vevo will now build a new "product and growth team" led by VP of Engineering, Andy Smith and SVP Will Jackson, according to Variety, which first broke the story.
