Ticketmaster Transfer Outage
Fans reported that they were unable to transfer Ticketmaster tickets to multiple events last Friday and Saturday. One customer posted a screenshot showing Ticketmaster displaying “Transfer Unavailable” and telling the recipient, “Unfortunately, Transfer is not available at the moment. Please try again later.”
The dozens of effected events ranged from Harry Styles in NYC to Bruno Mars at California's SoFi Stadium. The ticketer acknowledged the transfer backlog which appeared to clear by late Saturday.
Ticket resellers were quick to pounce with their cleverly named Coalition for Ticket Fairness calling the incident the "clear consequence of allowing one company’s unprecedented control over live event ticketing."
