In an increasingly competitive festival market, Live Nation is taking steps to make it a little easier for fans to attend their events by offering global festival passes.

Dubbed The Festival Passport, a new $799 pass will provide admittance to virtually all promoter giant Live Nation's festival portfolio across 15 different countries and will provide access to festivals that are officially sold out.
Festivals in the list include Austin City Limits, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza's in Chicago, Berlin and Paris, Creamfields, EDC in Las Vegas and Orlando, the Isle of Wight, and Download in both Paris and Spain. As well, Live Nation will provide passport holders assistance with camping arrangements or reserving a parking spot, but parking for events that don't include parking fees in the price of admission will be extra. There's a catch though – the company will only offer 1,000 of the festival passports this year and they will be non-transferable and only issued in the buyer's name, so don't expect to see them cropping up on Stubhub anytime soon.
