Concert giant Live Nation wants to make its web site a one-stop for live music fans and its going so far as to invite competing venues and promoters to post dates on it’s web site.  "It’s like MySpace for venues," Live Nation executive Scott Fedewa told attendees of the Music 2.0 Conference.

The web site already lists other venues with contact info, an RSS feed and directions. But much more is promised including ticketing via Ticketmaster. (Could this also be part of a move by Live Nation to get into the ticketing business themselves when their Ticketmaster contract expires next year?).

More details were promised at next week’s Concert Industry Consortium in Los Angeles and Hypebot will have reports live from the annual convention produced by touring industry trade magazine Pollstar.
