Martin Mills Named Worldwide Independent Network Chair

Beggars Group founder and chairman Martin Mills has been named non-executive chair of the Worldwide Independent Network (WIN), comprising of over 20 independent trade associations in 30 countries.London-based Beggars Group, one of the biggest independent record companies in the world, represents such labels as XL Recordings, Rough Trade, Matador, 4AD, and Young Turks.In a statement Alison Wenham, CEO and founding president of WIN said, “Martin Mills has been a hugely respected and influential champion of the independent music community for decades and WIN is delighted to announce his Chair.
