Midemlab 2017 Music Tech Startup Winners: HumOn, Truelinked, Soundcharts, Vinci Smart Headphones

Midemlab, the startup contest of music industry conference Midem has chosen its winners. Finalists delivered live pitches today in front of an audience and jury of investors and potential partners.The twenty 2017 Midemlab finalists who pitched live on Wednesday were chosen from 136 submissions representing 32 countries worldwide by Midemlab’s selecting partners: music business information and strategy company Music Ally; consulting company specialising in open innovation bluenove; and Northzone, an investment firm and an early investor in Spotify. Previous editions of Midemlab proved to be a valuable launchpad for many leading startups in the entertainment field such as SoundCloud, The Echo Nest, Kickstarter, BandPage, Songkick, Next Big Sound and Stagelink – to name a few.
