Industry veteran Gee Roberson has been appointed Chairman of Geffen Records. Roberson was protege of Jay-Z and served a SVP A&R heading Atlantic's urban division.
- CBS and the Grammy Awards have reached a new 10 year deal to keep the awards show on the network through 2021. The deal also includes the annual Grammy Nominations Concert Live and two-hour special, details of which are still being worked out.
