UK based Bloom.fm, the £1 $1.61 USD) per month 22 million track mobile music service, says that registered users hit 500,000 mark during October, as the London-based
startup continues its upward trajectory. Bloom attracts a young demographic;54% of the app’s users are under 25, with (83%) under 35.
Bool was at 100,000 users just 6 months ago.
The recent launch of an Android app helped fuel registrations, with over 100,000 installs in its first month on Google Play. The app offers the only £1 a month mobile music subscription as
well as £5 and £10 tiers.
Oleg Fomenko, CEO of Bloom.fm said, “Reaching half a million
users is a significant milestone. We’re giving mass-market music fans what they
need – a fairly priced service that’s beautifully designed and enjoyable to
use. This is a great start – we building a strong brand and we’ve got huge
ambitions”.
