The Scion Music(less) Music Conference took place this Fall in Los Angeles. "What Music Startups Are Offering," a panel moderated by Eliot Van Buskirk, featured three startup founders from Distrokid/Fandalism, This Is My Jam and 8tracks discussing their startups and "their relationship to the changing music landscape." In this third segment the ideas of a universal playlist and open standards for music services are presented followed by a discussion of the superfan.
