The upcoming Music Tectonics conference has named ten music tech startups as Swimming With Narwhals Pitch Competition 2023 semifinalists.

Each will pitch during the September 13th Music Tectonics online pre-conference before a panel of three judges: Tracy Maddux, of Downtown Music Holdings, Aadit Parikh of Sony Ventures, and Juliette Rolnick of Bertelsmann Digital Media Investments.

- Creativemind – Korea’s first-ever AI music composer, with human-like songwriting abilities.

- Get Moments: a platform that lets live event organizers collect and monetize UGC video from concerts, festivals, and sports matches.
- Lune Acoustics – a hardware and software companion that removes barriers to learning guitar.
- MAYK – voice tech with a focus on UGC song creation tools.
- Offstage – a superfan platform that makes fan data accessible and actionable.
- RealCount – an analytics platform for live music’s key performance metric: tickets sold.
- VisualLabs – a Generative AI video creation tool.

Online Preconference & In Person Conference Details
Then fifth annual in-person Music Tectonics conference will bring together music tech innovators across industry boundaries in Santa Monica, CA from October 24-26.
Music industry analyst Mark Mulligan of MIDiA will kick off the September 13 online preconference with a keynote presentation. The preconference is only open to full conference ticket holders.
