Indie label trade association, the American Association of Independent Music (A2IM), announced the nominees for its 6th annual Libera Awards. Created by and for the Independent label community, the Libera Awards – name adapted from the Latin word for freedom – is part of A2IM’s Indie Week in New York City.Nominees are voted for by members of the U.S. independent music community and the name Libera comes from the Latin phrase for independent and is defined as free and unrestricted.
