Onkyo Launches Hi-Res Music Download Store In US, UK, Germany

Japan based audio and video manufacturer Onkyo has expanded its Onkyo Music high resolution music download store to the US, UK and Germany in beta. Unlike Pono, Tidal and Deezer Elite, Onkyo does not stream hi-def music, but offers it for sale and download.

Onkyo Music is powered by 7Digital and offers "hundreds of thousands" of 24-bit 44.1kHz – 192kHz tracks alongside millions of CD quality 16-bit FLAC files. A hi-res albums range from $15-$25 and single tracks cost $2-$4 per song.
