(UPDATED) OurStage has raised an additional $2.5 million, a company spokesperson told Billboard. That brings the total raised by the music startup to more than $22 million.
OurStage encourages fans to rate artists on the site and then provides opportunities for greater exposure to the most popular bands. The company says that the latest round of funding will bring the company to profitability later in 2010. One of the driving forces behind OurStage is director Don Ienner, the former CEO of Sony Music.
