Pandora Signs Direct Licensing Deal with Warner/Chappell Music

Pandora today announced a multi-year licensing agreement with Warner/Chappell Music. The deal comes on the heals of direct Pandora deals with Sony/ATV, Merlin, Songs and others.

While details of the deal were not announced both parties says that this direct publishing deal creates business benefits for Pandora, while modernizing compensation for Warner/Chappell Music and its songwriters in the U.S. Pandora will benefit from greater rate certainty and the ability to add new flexibility its its streaming.
