Michael Angelakos, the frontman of Passion Pit, has reportedly raised $250 million to launch a company that will support musician with legal, educational and healthcare services.
A New York City-based company called The Wishart Group raised the funding with contributions from big names in music and tech, according to Mashable. Angelakos, who declined to comment, could announce a launch as early as this week.One focus of the project, described as an "Artist Research and Protection Service," will be mental health.
