PM Update: Morris To Head Sony, iPad + Garageband

Hypebot publishes a morning roundup of music  industry news every    weekday morning prior to 11AM ET and when warranted will add a PM Update    edition around 4:30PM ET.

• As expected, Doug Morris has been named CEO of Sony Music effective July 1st.  He departs UMG at the end of this month.
