Music industry mega-conference Midem organizer Reed MIDEM has announced that Simon Rhodes has joined the company as UK managing director. In his new position, Rhodes will oversee Reed MIDEM’s British-based business and take the UK sales lead on the company’s real estate portfolio.

Prior to joining the firm, Rhodes was EMEA marketing and business development director at CBRE.

“Simon brings extensive international experience in marketing, business development and management to Reed MIDEM’s UK team as they work on our television, music and property events,” said Reed MIDEM CEO Paul Zilk. “His knowledge of the real estate industry makes him ideally placed to lead our sales strategy in the UK for our property portfolio and will be particularly beneficial as we grow MIPIM UK.”
