Friends of Rolling Stone Magazine partied ’til dawn last night in NYC in celebration of their 1000 cover issue. The legendary Solomon Burke backed by Paul Shaffer
and his Late Night band and The Strokes provided the music. At a circulation of 1.3 million, Rolling Stone still comfortably leads other music-oriented magazines like the urban Vibe (836,000) and Blender (693,000), according to the Capell Circulation Report.
