Music recognition app Shazam announced that its verified artist community has achieved a combined reach of 1.4 billion followers. Starting today, Shazam Verified Artists is open to all artists offering an easy way to connect with fans.

Starting today any artist or band can become a Shazam verified artist and share the music they discover with their fans.

At launch, Shazam worked with top performers like Pharrell, David Guetta, Sam Smith and nearly 200 more.
