(Updated) Songkick is expanding the reach of its massive tour date and ticketing database via a new deal with streaming music service Songza. Songkick already has deals to deliver concert data to Spoitfy, YouTube, Vevo, Bandcamp, HypeMachine, SoundCloud and others.
Songza will add "a rolling playlist" that will be updated based on a combination of touring data from Songkick and editorial decisions, Songkick CEP Ian Hogarth tells Billboard. "Given that playlists are the heart of Songza's service we thought this was the most native integration."
Launched 7 years ago, Songkick says it delivers concert info to 8.5 million unique fans monthly across platforms.
