Sony Challenges Court Requirement In Kesha Case

In a Tuesday filing, Sony wants to reverse a recent decision by New York Supreme Court Justice Jennifer Schecter, arguing that it does not want to tell Kesha and her legal team the names of the people it interviewed in an internal investigation, claiming it “would reveal attorney thought processes and legal strategy,” according to Billboard.Sony is reportedly requesting the court renew Kesha’s motion based on the new information or deny it.“Sony’s investigation is not merely a set of materials prepared in anticipation of litigation,” Sony says in its motion, “but was instead a collection of decisions reflecting legal strategy, undertaken only after Kesha filed a Complaint, for the purpose of developing Sony’s legal defense, investigating the truth of Kesha’s allegations, and providing legal advice to Sony.”photo: Kesha By Kolombiyar (Own work) CC BY-SA 4.0 via Wikimedia Commons)– CelebrityAccess
