Next big soundNext Big Sound offered one of the most complete sets of data in the music industry, but its about to lose a key data providers. Now that Next Big Sound is owned by Pandora, Soundcloud has decided it no longer wanted to share its data feed.

In a statement to MusicAlly a SoundCloud spokesperson wrote:

SoundCloud_logo (1)Since SoundCloud’s beginning we’ve focused on building an ecosystem where creativity thrives. That creativity includes developers who have built innovative services using SoundCloud’s API. With the recent acquisition of Next Big Sound by Pandora, we have decided, as a normal course of business, that the time has come for Next Big Sound to discontinue using SoundCloud’s API."
