SoundExchange distributed $1.017 billion in royalties to artists and labels last year, the PRO announced in its latest annual report.
The digital royalties were collected from over 3,600 digital streaming platforms and distributed to over 600,000 creators and rights holders.
SoundExchange has collected more than $10 billion to date while maintaining one of the industry’s lowest administration rates.
