Spotify continues to iterate and this change brings information that both music fans and the industry will find useful. Today, Spotify added an About page that includes artist bios, play stats and other information.

Today Spotify launched artist About Pages to give offer in depth information on each artist. Available as a tab across artist pages, it includes:

● Biographies with full screen image browsing

● Monthly listener stats

● Global rank based on monthly listeners

● Where people are discovering the artist, ranked by most popular playlists

● Which cities the artist is most popular in

Note: As of this writing we were unable to view the new About pages in the PC is iOS mobile apps. We've asked Spotify to clarify if this is a gradual rollout.
