It's been almost 2 years since Songkick launched its app on Spotify, giving fans the option to see selected tour dates with in Spotify. Now the two companies have expanded the partnership automatically adding tour dates from Songkick to all Spotify artist pages. Here's an example:
Songkick dates also have a new home within Spotify "Discover".
The partnership is typical of tour data deals the Songkick has made since launching. Jambase, Pollstar and Celebrity Access also offer similar products. More recently BandsInTown and BandPage have cut high profile deals to expand their tour dates to music sites and services.
