UPDATE: Spotify pushed out an iOS upgrade on Tuesday night desgined to fix the problem.
Within an iOS app update description, Spotify aknowledged that for some users, the app crashes everytime they play music. Spotify says they're working on a "proper" fix now, In the meantime, they offer this workaround:
- Go to the Social page in Settings
- Disable "Show Activity"
