Spotify Names Sulinna Ong Head of Music UK and Ireland

She came to the streaming giant from Deezer, where she served as Global Vice President of Artist Marketing.

In her new role, Ong will be tasked with leading both Spotify’s Artist & Label Services (ALS) and Music Culture & Editorial (MCE) teams in the UK/IE.Commenting on her appointment, Ong said: “I’m delighted to be taking on a new role as UK Head of Music for Spotify – and looking forward to bringing all our music teams together to deliver even greater experiences for all our partners, labels, artists and, of course, our listeners.”Tom Connaughton, Spotify’s Managing Director, UK/IE, added: “The close collaboration between our UK Music teams leads to great experiences for artists, labels, users and our people – and we’re always looking for new ways to work even more closely together.
