Spotify Has 100 Million Active Users [OFFICIAL]

Spotify now has more than 100 million active users, the music streamer has confirmed.  At the end of 2015, Spotify confirmed 89 million active users including 30 million paid subscribers.

Spotify has today that it has surpassed 100 million active users, firmly cementing its position as the globe's most popular on demand music streamer.  Apple Music announced that it has passed 15 million paid subscribers last week.

A jump of 11 million users in less than six months means that Spotify is adding almost 2 million per month. That's an impressive number, but less clear is how many of them are paid users.
