Spotify is partnering with Sprint to offer streaming music to its mobile customers. The deal will reportedly look similar to the Beats Music deal with AT&T which offers a free trial, discounts on Spotify's $9.99 Premium plan, and billing included on customer's monthly mobile bill.

The deal will be announced in an event in New York City on April 29, according to multiple sources. Rightsholders will need extend their Spotify deals to include Sprint, so the launch could be delayed.

Music streamers are anxious to close deals with mobile carriers and manufacturers who can potentially deliver new subscribers. Last week Deezer partnered with Samsung for that manufacturers first music tie-in.
