For the 5th year, Making Vinyl is hosting awards to recognize the best vinyl, CD, and tape packaging. International submissions are welcome and can come from record labels, pressing plants, brokers, packagers, printers, mastering facilities, artists, and distributors.

Deadline: Friday, November 19, 2021

The submissions and judging process will be entirely online and requires hi-rez photos of all entries, as well as full-text descriptions of the packages, who are responsible for their creation, and who shall be inscribed on the trophy in the case of winning.

To maximize the chances of winning, submitters are urged to include supporting videos to best explain why their packages should win. Submissions will be judged by a panel of award-winning judges.

The award winners will be announced in early January 2022.

Bruce Houghton is Founder and Editor of Hypebot and MusicThinkTank and serves as a Senior Advisor to Bandsintown which acquired both publications in 2019. He is the Founder and President of the Skyline Artists Agency and a professor for the Berklee College Of Music.
