OK, I'm going to just say it. I used to make fun of Taylor Swift as another lightweight pop star. She still is unlikely to join the pantheon of musical geniuses and pioneers. But when an artist consistently delivers mega-hits while cultivating an image that is more about self-empowerment than sex and money, she deserves respect.

The list of Taylor Swift's accomplishments keeps growing after her most recent video 'Blank Space' became the fastest video to hit 1 billion views on the Vevo music video service.

Swift tweeted on Monday afternoon:
