And, oddly enough, the more extreme sacrifices you make on behalf of your musical passions, the better chance you have of getting emotionally crushed and becoming financially destitute. The all-or-nothing-musical approach can actually keep you from being able to make music. Passion isn’t just a good thing when it comes to making music. It’s absolutely crucial.
